准备为自己的32寸望远镜换上碳维桁架，正常来说会比原来的铝管变型更少、重量减半又更方便收纳。先做一下实验，把两种管材放在一起，一端固定，在1.1米的距离另一端挂上5公斤配重。结果铝管压底23mm，碳纤管较好，只是20mm，计划可以实行。
I’m preparing to replace the truss tubes of my 32-inch reflector with carbon fiber. In theory, they should deform less than the original aluminum tubes, weigh about half as much, and be easier to store. To test this, I placed both types of tubes side by side, fixed at one end, and hung a 5 kg weight at the other end, 1.1 meters away. The aluminum tube deflected 23 mm, while the carbon fiber tube performed slightly better at 20 mm. The plan looks feasible.
