Simultaneous remote observatory projects in South Africa and New Zealand are now underway. The first phase in South Africa, with an investment of USD 1.3million, includes a 1‑meter f/7 RC research‑grade telescope. Both observatories are expected to begin astronomical data services early next year, adding a new focus beyond international equipment sales, scientific projects, education, and science tourism.
