星河科研社在主坝海边与青协大美督户外活动中心合作一个新的科普活动基地，提供活动室、室外观星场地、流动立体星象馆、多台实习用望远镜，以及今天落成的自动化圆顶天文台。天文圆顶目前设有Celestron星特朗EdgeHD14折反射镜及SkyWatcher信达EQ8R Pro赤道仪，亦可以在需要时换上Askar 203APO折射镜。稍后会再加建一个自动化趟顶天文台，可以遥控及编程自动观测及进行天象广播。有兴趣的学校或私人团体可以联络我们，查询天文工作坊及观星体验活动安排及收费。

Galaxy Scientific Group have set up a new science outreach activity base with HKFYG Tai Mei Tuk Outdoor Activities Centre by the Plover Cove Reservoir main dam, featuring activity rooms, an outdoor stargazing area, a mobile 3D planetarium, multiple telescopes for hands-on use, and an automated dome observatory completed today. The observatory currently houses a Celestron EdgeHD14 reflector and a SkyWatcher EQ8R Pro mount, with the option to switch to an Askar 203APO refractor when needed. An additional automated roll-off roof observatory will be constructed later, allowing for remote control and programmed observations along with celestial broadcasts. Interested schools or private groups can contact us for information on astronomy workshops and stargazing experience arrangements and fees.
