Visited the good old place Purple Mountain Observatory recently and also had a look at the Officina Stellare Pro RC 700 telescope being tested there. However, it's planned to upgrade the current Paramount Taurus fork equatorial mount to the original manufacturer's version. In the end this equipment will be transported to the Ali region, located at an altitude of 5100 meters in western Tibet, for installation and operation.
