Last night we tested ZWO Seestar S50 again at our New Territories west base. With the light shield and dew heater on, the Antlia Triband RGB Ultra filter performed well  https://eshop.astro.hk/en/catalogs/products/addf858f-6782-4c57-b8a6-edd39b5abb04 . Despite the extremely low atmospheric transparency, where only stars of magnitude 2+ were barely visible, the NGC6992 Veil Nebula still showed some detail. However, it should be noted that the Seestar is primarily designed for Electronically Assisted Astronomy (EAA), and the Alt-Az mount has limitations for long-exposure imaging. For example, in this 37-minute exposure, areas of lower signal-to-noise ratio appeared in the corners was caused by field rotation.
