2023年7月观星实习期 July 2023 stargazing workshop

因为活动取决于天气,我们通常于週日或週一才发布讯息及公告,并于紧接的週五或週六晚举行,虽然通知时间很短,但感谢各会友支持,活动往往于短时间内满额。有兴趣日后第一时间收到活动及器材讯息的朋友,可whatsapp至星河科研社98119630并註明”订阅”或”Subcribe”,便可以每月收到一两次相关讯息。
当晚出动器材,
  • Celestron EdgeHD 14、RASA 11、Nexstar 8SE、6SE、Starsense Explorer LT80 AZ望远镜
  • Software Bisque Paramount MyT 赤道仪
  • ZWO AM5赤道仪
  • Askar 65PHQ摄星镜、Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTI 赤道仪
  • ZWO 2600MC、533MC、QHY600 Pro相机
  • Starizona Hyperstar 8、14摄星系统
  • Antlia RGB Ultra、IDAS LPS-D3滤镜
当晚和会友进行了的实习,
  • Celestron NexStar 三星校正
  • Celestron Starsense Explorer手机辅助寻星
  • 手机拍摄金星
  • 快速校正极轴、ASIAIR自动对焦、解析、导星及实时迭加等,并拍摄了多个深空天体,包括M7、M8、M13、M20、M27、M57等。
活动后工作人员留后调校好Celestron RASA 11的焦平面、V  curve及Software Bisque Paramount MyT赤道仪 的PEC曲线,以赶及月底发送至海外建立新一个遥控观测站,当晚视宁度不错,这系统在3.76微米相机像素下,仍可以保持焦点全天指向穏定,全片幅下整个像场维持2.0至2.5像素即1.25” FWHM 1.25的成像度。

During the stargazing workshop on Friday night in July, the weather was perfect. An hour after the start of the event, the clouds disappeared and the sky was filled with stars until we finished tuning the telescope in the second session at 2am when we left. Since the event is weather-dependent, we usually only announce the event on Sunday or Monday and hold it on the following Friday or Saturday night. Although the notice is short, we thank our friends for their support and the event is often fully booked in a short time. For friends who are interested in receiving real time event and equipment information in the future, they can WhatsApp to Galaxy Scientific Group at 98119630 and indicate "subscribe", and they will receive relevant messages once or twice a month.
The equipment used that night included, 
  • Celestron EdgeHD 14, RASA 11, Nexstar 8SE, 6SE, Starsense Explorer LT80 AZ telescopes, 
  • Software Bisque Paramount MyT equatorial mount, ZWO AM5 equatorial mount, 
  • Askar 65PHQ astrograph, Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTI equatorial mount, 
  • ZWO 2600MC, 533MC, QHY600 Pro cameras, 
  • Starizona Hyperstar 8, 14 astrograph systems, 
  • Antlia RGB Ultra, IDAS LPS-D3 filters.
During the workshop we conducted, 
  • Celestron NexStar three-star alignment  
  • Celestron Starsense Explorer smartphone app enabled observing
  • Captured images of Venus using a smartphone
  • Quick polar alignment, ASIAIR automatic focusing, plate solve, auto guiding and real-time stacking, and captured several deep sky objects, including M7, M8, M13, M20, M27, and M57.
After the workshop, we staffs stayed behind to tune up the Celestron RASA 11's focal plane, V-curve, and Software Bisque Paramount MyT equatorial mount's PEC curve, in order to send it oversea to establish a new remote observation station by the end of the month. Seeing that night were good, and the system maintained stable focus throughout the different parts of sky, and maintained  2.0 to 2.5 pixels or 1.25” FWHM across the field of the full frame camera of 3.76um pixels.
