新界西新天文观测及培训基地建设进展顺利，两个用来安装趟顶及圆顶天文台的水泥地台已造好，昨日又安放好化粪池，这两天正平整场地，很快会安装厕所及工作室，希望中电能儘早安装电力装置，预计11月可以为会友举办首次活动。
The construction of the New Territories West New Astronomical Observation and Training Base is progressing smoothly.
